Your Local Professional Photography Association
The Portland Metropolitan Photographers’ Association is your local, non-profit, volunteer run association dedicated to supporting local professional photographers and promoting excellence in photography. PMPA provides fellowship, education and a forum for the exchange of information and ideas. Its membership reflects all experience levels from masters to aspiring professional photographers. We invite you to join us and experience the benefits of a local organization dedicated to your success in professional photography. Here are your Membership Benefits:

Monthly Meetings- The second Thursday of each month. Free to members. Visit with other photographers, and learn from educational and topical programs, and quarterly print competitions.

Listing on PMPA web site – More publicity for your business, plus you can specify what your specialties are, link to your web, add social media links and more.

Seminars – Reduced cost to members – priced on a break even basis. Nationally known and sought after personalities in Portland at the most reasonable price you will find anywhere.

Safaris – Reduced cost to members – inexpensively priced. Programs focused on usable photographic skills. Use your camera to follow along.

Workshops – Reduced cost to members – inexpensively priced. In-depth learning focused on the skills of professional photography. May consist of classes held over several weeks.

Awards – Quarterly print competitions using Professional Photographers of America standards give you a proving ground for your competition prints, plus you can compete for a variety of PMPA merits and awards; and an annual print competition.

Annual Awards Banquet -Year-end fellowship, awards and more.
