eye-one display LT

I chatted with Lisa Kuhlman on Facebook about color calibration for my iMac and Windows 7 laptop. She was using the eye-one display LT device so I asked to borrow it. On Thanksgiving Day we met and then I went home to test it out.

First I calibrated my iMac and the "after" results looked more realistic than the default calibration from Apple. Now the color saturation is more natural and not so over-done.

Next I calibrated my Windows 7 laptop. Of course it took multiple reboots and a software update to get it working, about 4X the effort as the iMac. In the end I have better color on my Windows 7 laptop, especially improved was the contrast levels and blacks.

Compared to the previously reviewed Huey calibration device, this is a no-brainer. Buy the eye-one display LT for laptops, Mac and CRT monitors. Pricing is about $120 and well worth it to see accurate colors for your photography work.
