The Passing of Bill Crispien

For those of us who’ve been photographing for a number of
years and had camera repair problems before our friends at Advance Camera and
Pro Photo Supply became our established and preferred repair guys, Bill
Crispien was here in Portland
to help us out.  Bill’s shop was Custom Camera Craft on what now is MLK Blvd. in Portland. His
collection of cameras and repair parts for all types of camera equipment was
legendary.  Not only was Bill a camera repairman with a great reputation,
but he was a photographer as well. His shop closed in 2003 and he died in
Crooked River Ranch on March 20, 2009 at the age of 91
